Glitch on Tesco £10 meal deal!

I don't know if this will be store specific or not but this morning I got a very good DTD on the £10 meal deal.

I got;
Green veg £2-65
Smoked haddock risotto £5-50
Belgian chocolate puddings £3
Corbierre red wine £10-99

The deal didn't kick in, so a DTD of £24-28.

Better still I had used the £1 off chilled meals coupon, from the price drop magazine and got 25% off the wine as I had already bought more than six bottles so the meal deal was already down to £6-25!:)

Sorry for being ignorant but what is a DTD?

i cant see that haddock rissoto is included in the meal deal on line, so thats maybe why the meal deal discount didnt kick in

Double the difference - where if Tesco overcharge you, they refund you double the difference between what you should have paid and what you did pay.

The lady from CS looked at a list of what was included in the meal deal and said the risotto was on it.:)

Sorry .. but YUK! And the haddock is not included in our meal deals at our local either. Neither are the chocolate puddings. :eek:

Just double checked again and if it is this, it is definately NOT included in the meal deal. If the assistant did check the list, she has probably made a mistake

the risotto was included in store in the offer at the weekend, so maybe they have changed the offer now? I thought it looked nice and was going to buy but they had no red wine for the offer left (only a metro store)

So it is possible she was looking at the old list.!
I'm not complaining.:)

All the food items are in my trolley but the France corbiere and merlot are not included in the offer instore!

I daren't try it with the French wine as the floor staff said they would not honour it even though I showed her the Tesco.com list.

They have 2 different white wines with the deals instead.
