I love birdies, and so does my husband. Of course, we live in a flat, and the only birds we get on our balcony are pigeons (which we do feed, suckers that we are). And we have two cockatiels in the flat, but that's hardly the same thing.

    So birdies are great.:A

we are lucky enough to live within the grounds of a large school so we see all kinds of bird. My daughter will love this as we have just set up some bird feeders and a nesting box.

    Thanks to the OP

For those who are really keen..

    Go to http://www.rspb.org.uk/england/volunteering/index.asp
Here there are pages of volunteering opportunities all over the UK.

Or if you need a job or anything else just look at the bottom of the home page.
    https://www.rspb.org.uk

Or for KIDS look here: http://www.rspb.org.uk/youth/index.asp (click on play on the left top and you can colour a bird of your choice and print it out). groovy.

Glad this has been of help.

Is there anyone who will admit to being a bird lover themselves. ;)

I admit I'm a bird watcher. I don't get into all the gear and call myself a "twitcher" but I like to feed and watch the anctics of birds and other wild life we get around here. Still waiting to see a live wild hedgehog though.:p
