Hi
I'm thinking of getting ds a trick / stunt scooter for xmas. He is 8 years old - does anyone have any recommendations? Don't really want to spend more than £50-60.
I have been considering the Razor Label A & also the Razor Classic Pro.
Any ideas or thoughts welcome
Thanks

Hi, after reading this i have spoken with my scooter mad 14yo son and he said if you are debating between the two you have previously mentioned then he would recomend the Razor classic.
However if you have no preference and are looking to spend the said amount he recomends a JD bug with a seperate bolt kit which stops the stem from wobbling and they are more reliable. I purchase his scooters and accessories from either Skates.co.uk or skatehut.co.uk:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Any know what the best 360 stunt scooters are for a 7 year old. My son wants one for Christmas and didn't want one that was too big (he's fairly tail though). Wanting to spend £70-£100 really. What about the Grit Extremist 2 Stunt Scooter or Grit Fluxx Stunt Scooter or Razor ones or any others?
Thanks:)0 -

in reply to your question my son has had a look on the skates.co.uk website and skatehut and prices are approximately the same. He recommends the JD Bug original pro street v3.0 scooter with the JD Bug bolt kit which can be found under the hardware section of spares for scooters. I believe one of the sites has a discount code lying around if you can find it too so should help you keep to your budget. We do however recommend the service from skaatehut over the other one due to a bad delivery experience on a pre ordered item.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Pete, my son has said he wouldnt recommend a razor scooter unless it was the razor ultra pro lo.
From the other two you have listed he says the extremist is the better one of the two. Another one to consider is an MGP http://www.skates.co.uk/scooters/mgp-scooter-white.html if you have not already ruled these out.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

I bought DS who is now 12 a JD BUG limited edition last year and he loved it cost me £60 posted.
MGP comes recommended by him now for the 70-100 price range - I seem to see alot of the kids at DDs school with them.0 -
