xbox 360 HD DVD Drive?

The simple answer on this one at present is 'nowhere'. If you thought it was difficult to get x360 and Wii's at launch then this is a whole new ball game. I invested time getting x360's and Wii's to essentially sell to fund my own when they were launched - and I managed it getting 4 of each.
But these are nigh on impossible to get hold of in this country. After weeks (6) of trying to get one, I gave up. And then by chance, popped into Gamestation Stockport one day and they had 2. Bought for myself but they wouldn't let me have the other.
However, you can get from here:

HD DVD's are not region coded so no issues.
If you pop over to AV Forums, they have a thread about availability and I would say that is your best bet for stock over here.

HD DVD's can be picked up cheaper from some other sites as play asia seem to be not that cheap for the films and if anyone decides to order a HD DVD drive from them they apparantly charge £25 for delivery and their is a chance that customs will stop the parcel and slap a charge on it so it could end up costing you more than a UK drive0 -
Branny - seriously not impossible - Toys r Us branches are genuinely getting quite regular deliveries of small numbers of the drive. They're not on the shelves, but if you ask a manager, they'll check the stock room. I got one two days ago.0

soft uk have them in. I got one a while ago from them. (although it was more than uk rrp).

The 360 struggles with regular DVD's let alone HD-DVD.

maybe the firmware needs updating on the person who reviewed the 360 for dvd playback.
all i can say is that the picture is better on the 360 using normal dvd's than it is on my expensive panasonic dvd player.
