Tesco clubcard exchange site crashed

has anyone else noticed that once again as per last time the day before the promotion end, you cannot get through to tesco for love nor money and the site has crashed. Have been trying to buy toys and small electricals since yesterday. All my e coupons are coming up as you cannot use these ecoupons on this occasion - you can perhaps use them off your next purchase. When i got through earlier was told it was because they were more than the value so i ordered something else and still no change. I have now been waiting on the phone for 22 mins. Has anyone else had the same problem?

    Worth bearing in mind for next time, for anyone like me who realized late on 30th that they still hadnt swapped their coupons , I found the site was still working on its x3 value , at 1.30am on 1st Dec.
  • Same thing happened to me. Exchanged £5 for £10 for use on the on-line toys dept. Never received the email containing the voucher code. Tried phoning multiple times and never get an answer. Also emailed and had no reply! The item I wanted is now out of stock! So I've no use for the voucher now anyway! The original voucher is saying its been used! :mad:
  • I tried the day before the deadline. Took forever as the website kept freezing and throwing me out. At 2am I gave up - my account said processing. I emailed Tesco before I went to bed to ask them whether I had successfully exchanged my vouchers or not as I had a zero balance by then (from £80+ saved for this exact reason).
    Got a blanket response asking me to call the helpline.
    Tried for two days (in my lunch hour) and couldn't get through.
    Sent another email last night as on checking again it had given me one £10 deal and another £10 deal (but to use in store bizarrely) and credited the remaining £60+ into my account.
    Got another blanket response despite pointing out in my reply that the first one didn't help.
    Have been on the phone tonight for over 45 minutes and finally got through at 8pm (I was expecting to get cut off as their lines shut at 8pm).
    I was told that they had such a backlog they wouldn't have read either of my emails yet.7
    That the system was shut and there was nothing they could do.
    Shocking!
    I did ask why Tesco offer this is their website/staff can't handle the demand but was met with silence.
    Seriously miffed and will be taking my business elsewhere - we have all the major supermarkets local and for what you get in points (that you can't exchange anyway) I intend to shop elsewhere.
    I appreciate they were probably deluged but their lack of customer service in their response has really hacked me off.

    Have you looked in 'myclubcardaccount' under 'exchanges' it will show your codes there - to be used by the end of the 6th!

  • Have spent much of today on the phone to Tesco trying in vain to try to spend a voucher on the Wine by the Case site. My ecoupon keeps getting rejected for no reason - it's driving me crazy!

    Yeah there was no codes in that section of the website. I received an email yesterday saying my voucher should work again now but i 'have unfortunately missed out on the big exchange'

    To which i replied i did not 'unfortunately miss the big exchange' followed by a rather angry email.

    Are you sure it is the END of the 6th? I note that on their site it states 'BY' the 6th which could be by the end of the 5th?!?!?!
