May not be all stores but mine have tins of No drain John West tuna chunks in sunflower oil for 50p.
Usual price £1.62 and date on them is Dec 2013.
This is my first thread on here, hope it helps someone.

Is that for more than one?
Usually they're graded from best to worst as Steak > Chunks > Flakes, and from memory, steak is just above £1 ( I think I paid about £1.30-40 for steak in sunflower oil, per can, dolphin friendly) and I don't get the other two, but about 80-90p for chunks, and about 40-50p for flakes.
I think £1.62 for tuna chunks might be a bit of a fib on their part, unless they've REALLY packed it in.
*edit* I've just checked, and it's actually tuna steak (the best one) which makes it a bargain. Not sure I can get near an Asda, but I'll see if I can ask someone to grab me some - thanks for the tip

It's chunks I've got, I just checked the tin. Perhaps it's £1.62 a can as it's supposed to be 'no drain'?
Hope you manage to get some anyway!0 -
Yes, the right price for no-drain is really high. It's been on offer in supermarkets at £3 for 3 recently and I picked up some in Home bargains for £2.50 for 3 if I rememebr correctly. So 50p for the no-drain is bl**dy good!0

Update: I asked some friends to look out for me, and there's no luck so far in the Bristol area.

I looked here, http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/tesco-price-comparison/Tinned_Fish/John_West_Tuna_Chunks_in_Sunflower_Oil_No_Drain_120g.html
And the picture says steak - maybe they got it wrong.0
