Why doesn't the abuse controller receive PM's or emails?

Options
I've been trying to contact the abuse controller of this site here Abuse Controller . But they have chosen not to receive PMs or emails. When you try to contact them it says you have to contact the Administrator. When I do that they have also chosen not to accept PMs or emails. What do we have to do? I have contacted a board guide but this is a more general request rather than localised to one board.

Abuse Controller is the old (Now unused name) that has been replaced by the Forum Team.

As said, the way to contact them is always abuse@moneysavingexpert.com

They are deliberately set up to be seen as a team rather than individuals with personalities which is why they don't have individual addresses
• How come this place doesn't have the form to fill in when we click the red triangle? That's what other vbulletin forums have so why does this one have to be awkward and want to use email submission only? I only use gmail so can't click the triangle without sending my Pc into a fit :o

And that only works when you want to report a specific post. Not the board as a whole.

A few reasons
One is so that there is a central email system that deals with everything
another is that if it uses a form then guests can't use it.

If you download Gmail Notifier that will fix your mailto links so that they open up gmail in your browser whenever you click on a mailto link (Like the triangle) - though often the subject line doesn't record the url of the thread you are trying to report so you have to paste it in

Here you go:
http://help.yahoo.com/help/uk/mail/ext/ext-11.html

go to that page using Internet Explorer.

They still haven't updated that page - It sometimes says that the installation is successful when it was actually stopped by Service pack 2 (that page pre-dates it) - so you might have to click to allow it and try again.

I think it's easier I just don't report the posts. I'm sure the guests will do it. Thanks for the quick reply :)
