Help to choose a bank for current account, that is not connected to any of my debt

Dear Forum;

I am currently defaulting on debts to the following banks.

HSBC / First Direct
MBNA
Barclay card
Opus
Halifax
Natwest / Mint
Amex

I opened a new current account 6 months ago, with LLyods, which I believed would be safe from any of my debt, but have discovered that Halifax and possibly Opus are connected.

So, I need to transfer again, but have found it difficult, I tried co-op bank, but was refused for even their basic account (I dont need an OD, or want one).

Any suggestions on banks to apply to for a new current account, unconnected to the above banks, and who will accept new customers with a poor c.rating and in negotiations with other banks (but does have a job).

thankyou in advance

Cody
