Just had a phone call from a very well spoken chap at The Times newspaper. He said that he thought I might be a regular Times reader and asked whether that was true. Of course, stupidly I answered 'not really' so he said thank you and goodbye.

Can't help thinking this might have been to do with a comp in which case I have blown it!

Nope, had a call from the times a few weeks back...was a survey, just like that...then i said i read it at the weekend (BS) and he then at the end offered me subscriptions ...

So i wouldn't worry!

Nah they are trying to get you to buy tokens for the paper that give you a discount in the shop.

Yes they just want to sell you vouchers so that you can get the paper cheaper if your a regular reader. Remember getting call after Iphone 4s competition and I was acting all interested until I realised.
