I've just been, picked up 3 cookery books and 3 kids activity books and it did not work for me 50 % off only

I can cofirm it might not be every store, Malvern M&S, just tried 6 x kids books all at £6 each and total was £18 rather than the £12ish I expected, only 50% came off and not 3 for 2 as well. The 50% off signs actually say cannot be used with 3 for 2 offer and clearly the tills weren't doing the double offer here

Same, 6 kids books tried instore and only 50% off so didn't bother!

Ooh I'm out for lunch near an m&s food shop do they do Xmas stuff too will it work there?
