christmas service for recently bereaved

Does anyone know of any churches that hold a special church service for people who have lost a family member recently? I am looking for something to take my friend along to her, she lost her mum only a few months ago and I think she would like to spend some time thinking about her. A lot of the usual church services as a bit too happy. (I am a baptist!).
Anything in Glasgow, Lanarkshire or West Dunbartonshire would be helpful, thanks

there is a special carol service for the bereaved in Carluke at St Andrews parish church on Thursday,December 8th at 7pm.
There is also a memorial service in Lanark at St Nicholas church on Sunday,December 4th at 3pm.This service lasts around 30 mins with refreshments afterwards.
These are the only ones i know of.Hope you find something.

Oh hope you find something, please post if you do as I am sure a lot of people might be grateful of it, I know I was when our local church had a service for those that had died in the previous year to my mum.
