Present for parents, Gift Vouchers for Hotel?

Can someone help me please?

I stay in Scotland, my parents enjoy going for 1/2 night weekend breaks in hotels around Scotland.

Now I don't want to book them into a hotel for a date they might not be able to attend, or a hotel/place they might not want to go.

So I was wandering if anyone knows where I could get gift vouchers for Hotel Breaks in Scotland? I've checked the Visit Scotland but they are not suitable, any help appreciated.

Thanks

  • I have just bought something similar for my mum and her partner. Try giftideasfortwo or buyagift (you can find them on google), they can chose their own dates (voucher lasts 12 months) and they can choose which area they would like to go to.

No problem, hope you find something. Also google hotel breaks for two and have a look at some of the sites.
  • You can buy gift vouchers for lastminute.com which always have lots of good deals on nights away. I'm in Glasgow and always manage to find something on there.

Superbreak do gift vouchers and they can be used direct or through a travel agent at the same cost, they are the one of the biggest hotel suppliers.
    Hope this helps x

Thanks for all the replies, I think Superbreak is my best bet, they can choose their own break that way and its good that it can be booked through a Travel Agent aswell.

    Thanks guys!

  • Another alternate option could be to make them some sort of "weekend away" hamper with bits and bobs they could use on their trip, and just give an envelope for a "stay of your choice"... I know it's effectively just giving them money but really lets them get free reign then and is done in a bit of a better and decorated way!
