Savings Account Help

Hi everyone
Some of you may (or may not) know that I have CCCS and am in the process of trying to arrange a DMP.
I have opened a basic bank account with Co op and am monitoring each and every penny that comes out of my account.
I am putting aside money for my basic needs, eg ground rent, MOT, etc and would like to open a savings account so it can be kept seperate for when I need it.
As I am with the co op I was thinking of the Smart Saver ... any thoughts on this?
Thanks so much

It worked for me. We had a savings account in Nationwide and basic cashminder co-op account but we found the 4ish days to transfer electronically inconvenient.
Both accounts with co-op and online transfers are instant, been a lifesaver a couple of times. Basic co-op cashminder for day to day use, co-op smartsaver for annual and irregular bills. We kept the Nationwide account for emergencies like car repair.Proud to have dealt with my debts, became debt free on 03/11/2011. Repaid £54,723.41 LBM May 2006.
