Posted by Bill Wright on the digital TV usenet group, here is a photo and google earth image of a house with a 14 panel PV system installed.
Let's hope that they didn't pay for this themselves...

Surely that's a DIY job on a WNW facing roof.0

At least there can be no complaints from the bill-paying public that their FIT subsidies will be paying out for this!
Either the occupants are solar evangelists, or a cowboy firm specc'd the installation.

Larkin thats a cracker. I thought I had seen a few crackers where I live that the council have fitted but cant match that. Ive seen them on north facing roofs, crammed between houses behind trees, but never on the brick work before. Stockport council where I live do seem to favour east facing roofs for some reason. well over 50% of the roofs are this orientation. Have I missed something. Or just a good use of council money?.0

Maybe the neighbour has very bright outside lighting and he though he'd take advantage of it:rotfl:We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
The earth needs us for nothing.
The earth does not belong to us.

That's hilarious! I guess the dormer on the south-east side of the roof meant that the cowboys (...sorry, installers) couldn't rip off the houseowners as much (...sorry, maximise the installation size) if they installed on this side...0
