There's an update now on the MSE page: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/free-photo-prints#snapfishmug

MSE Update Thur 1 Dec 2011, 10.30am: The instructions on how to get the deal have now changed, please see below.

What's the deal? New and existing Snapfish customers can get a free personalised photo mug usually £7.99, you just need to pay £1.99 p&p. The offer ends at 11.59pm Fri 2 Dec 2011.

How do you get it? Sign-up or login to the special Snapfish page by end of Fri 2 Dec. Within seven days you'll be emailed a unique code. Select the 11oz single photo or collage mug and enter that code at the checkout before Thurs 15 Dec 2011. The last order date for Christmas is 16 Dec so this should arrive on time.

The detail: One free mug per person and can't be used with any other offer. New customers will also get 50 free prints (6×4). Newbies can't get any other offers on top, only the free mug and the free photos. If you order the free prints you'll pay an extra 99p delivery.

The bit in bold is the main change.
  • I got one of these last year and personally didn't think it was worth £1.99 - it wasn't good enough to give as a present.

Unless you are getting it as a gimmick for someone I wouldn't bother!
  • To contrast I got four through varying sites for different family members and they all loved them, we have one and it's lasted through the dishwasher. Stick to the white background though.

Mine has arrived... it's a good mug but the printing on it is really tacky! Luckily I am buying it as a gimmick Secret Santa gift so it's fine... I wouldn't rely on it to be 'classy' in any way at all

  • Very disappointed with mine, it was a jokey present, with some text on the photo - despite the preview showing the entire image intact, the resulting product has cropped both sides of the image including some of the text. Not a good way to convince me to ever use them again.
