I needed to buy some wine for presents so thought I would 'glitch test'. It's come back negative I'm afraid.

I bought 4 bottles at £10.99 each, but in a 2 for £10 deal, and another couple of bottles for just under a fiver each in no deal.

So the bottles had a pre-offers price of just under £54, and after the 2 for £10 deduction the overall price was just under £30.

My 25% discount was in the region of £7, so they are applying the discount AFTER other promotions have been processed.

Just thought I would let everyone know that yesterday Sainsbury's has started again the 25% off 6 or more bottles of wine. There are also a lot of wines half price, 2 for £10 and 3 for £12 which are all included in the deal.

Tesco currently have the same offer on, but it looks like Sainsburys have the edge as they also have some good 3 for £12 or 2 for £10 offers on. If it works the same as last time, the 25% discount comes off the original price of the wine before the multibuy offer, so you save more. (I hope this is still the case!)

sorry to say I bought 2 of the 3 for £12 deals last night to get the 25% off.
The 25% off only came off the £12 deal though.

But still not bad 6 bottle of wine that was £8.99 or £9.99 a bottle for 18 quid can't be sniffed at!!
