I have got lots of dill left over. Is it best to chop it up and freeze it or can I freeze it whole?
Also when defrosted, is it limp or can it be used as a garnish?

I chop my dill roughly then freeze it, it does go a bit limper than when fresh but you might still be able to use it as a garnish.0

If you put the dill in the freezer whole in a freezer bag and then while it's still frozen, quickly scrunch and roll the bag about it chops it for you
You can use it whole from frozen but when it thaws it will go limp. Works for rosemary too - ends up a bit uneven but saves so much time!
