Just rang my mortgage lender to ask for a settlement figure and the 'customer service advisor' (ho ho ho!) told me that it was illegal to give me that information!! :rotfl:

oh yes, and I forgot to include in my first post, he then began backtracking furiously and said that the reason he couldn't tell me how much I owe is because that information isn't on the computer system. Well, thats a little unfortunate, is it not? I was laughing so hard that I couldn't even be angry at the stupidity of it all....0
