URGENT Buying makeup as a gift

No idea what the quality is like...but Ruby Hammer (was previously half of Ruby and Millie) has brought out some make up kits for Debenhams and they are v affordable.0

If you end up sepnding a lot in MAC why not pay £25 for a makeover (I'm not suggesting you need one, just for fun) which you can then claim back when you purchase products, check this works frst though, it does in my local one, also have you thought about Soap n Glory products from Boots?, they are part of the Bliss company and the make up products are excellent, ok maybe not as upmarket as MAC etc but you would get loads for your money and great quality, they do quirky packaging and nice sets:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

I've never tried the brand but looking at Boots online Too Faced have some lovely gift sets and offers on points at the moment too. You could get a kit from them and a No7 brush set or something.
I would be delighted to receive something like that.0 -

Okay I need your help again.
I went in store today and saw the Estee Lauder gift set which is £50 if you spend £30 on Estee Lauder products.
Now is this company aimed at the higher age range or below 30s or are the products a mix and match?
The thing is, I know the bag and some items in there would be a good gift (and I'd put some other stuff in there too) but I don't think the bright pink lipstick would be any good, as well as some other items in there. Would it be easy to sell some of those stuff to fund buying something else, at a discounted price? Would people here be interested if they saw those items on eBay or something?
Another thing is, I caught my eyes on a gorgeous bag from the brand, which is free if you buy two products, one being fragrance (I'm hoping you can combine offers here).
Are their fragrances easy to sell? As I don't know who I'd give it too so rather sell it at a cheaper price (that way I don't mind I've paid a bit for the free bag). I REALLY liked the bag and I'm not into bags that much but I really like it.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. in the past, i always sold things from clinique bonus time that i didn't use on ebay. everything sold - not all for as much as i'd like though. estee lauder are probably a slightly older brand, but mainly due to price. i LOVE some of the facecare stuff but just can't justify the cost regularly.
my only concern about this as a gift is that it's been advertised on tv a lot....... maybe that's just silly (it probably is just silly!).:happyhear0
