missold endowments cashed in

Can we do anything about a missold endowment that my hubby sold 3 years ago he no longer has the paperwork and does not recall the people who sold it (it was taken out in early 90's)
we had 2 and cashed them in when we moved as they were not going to cover both mortgages
are we at a complete loss or is there a way of tracing them ?

we are in the same situation but another message i posted earlier on says that we can still claim. have just posted updated info on it. there are some people on this site that know a few things in this field. will try to track down the message i posted unless you find before i do ( was a few days ago).

thanks deals I would really appreciate that ,can't believe we messed it up by chucking it away ,but at the time neither of us were very clued up! oh well live and learn eh?
