Making mince pies.

Apologies if this is in the wrong section, but i cant find one thats just for recipes?

My question is this:
i have some mincemeat, and some pastry (shortcrust). Is this all i need to make some mince pies?

    Yep! :D You might need some milk or egg to bind the top to the bottom.....but really, you're good to go!

    Yup, you're good to go hun. You might want to taste the mincemeat first and add more booze/orange juice if necessary (I always buy my mincemeat but then add a little more booze and a dash of orange juice).

    I can say it's homemade mincemeat that way (well it is kind of :D), been doing it for 5 years and no one has ever questioned it LOL

    You only need plain water to bind the tops to the bottoms. Wet the tops, its easier, sprinkle with brown suger.
