david smith, mike smith, steven donaldson, dhaval patel and now alice campbell... all names that come up with the address 22 Garden Close, Stamford, Lincs, PE9 2YP as part of these scams...
apparently the address dns comes up as "the heritage lottery fund" (which is actually in london) but this can still give non-suspicious minds a reason to not think it's a scam
unfortunately a lot of people HAVE fallen for it!! 0 -
Amazed that people fall for these - how can you win a 'lottery' you never bought a ticket for? People post these on scam.com all the time, asking "is this a scam?" - yes, of course it is!

Search Google and you can find the phone number for 20 Garden Close and the name of the Referee Instructor who lives there. Then maybe you could could ask him to pop around to next door?

Don't they usually then ask for some money before they can free up your winnings. That always seems to be the way when I see these scams on Watchdog.2007 Won Ipod 30GB Video Sold on ebay for £136.51
