Hi yes we are paying for the guests accomodation. Most are travelling 300 miles so we thought it would be a nice gesture.
Excellent, I would love to do this too.
I do think the current text is a bit ambiguous though - it gives the impression that you're paying but if I was a guest I would be a bit unsure and feel the need to check, but would be embarrased to do so in case I was wrong.
Anyhow, how about this to make it a bit clearer:
The bride and groom would like to provide their guests with bed & breakfast accommodation at XXXX Hall for the night of the wedding. Should you wish to stay the night, please call XXXX Hall Reservations 123456789 extension 1. Please mention that you are part of our party to ensure your room is allocated to the correct account.0
