Thinking of buying this for christmas and wondered if anyone had tried it and was it worth buying, and advice would be appreciated xx

i have a 9 yr old who loves it, if you have tesco vouchers yo could exchange these fo rdouble up if it is still ongoing. be aware though that there is lots of extra characters that they can purchase to go with it, i think i got thiers from play.com and went through quidco,

I've bought this or our son for Xmas. Ordered it from Game online, think it was £47 and redeemed our points off our Game card which took about £14 off it which helped,!
I've read lots of reviews and the thing I like most about this is the figures are compatable between games consoles. So if my son who has wii takes his figures to his friends house who has the game but on the Xbox then he can still use his figures during play on the Xbox. Watch the video on Amazon but amazon is not the cheapest place to buy, use the price comparison site :-)

Tried ordering from Zavvi

Order 1 qrrived - An inflateable shark received. Sent that back, waited a week & called them. They advised skylanders wii was out of stock but should be back in stock in a weeks time.

Next order arrived, this time skylanders, but for the PC. SKylanders wii still out of stock. Skylanders PC returned, still waiting for the refund.

I've ordered a few things from Zavvi, but never again. Seems to be a complete shambles.

Ordered on Wednesday from Game (used Quidco & points) - received today. Yes, a couple of pounds more expensive, but so much less stressful than the shambles of Zavvi
