Thats what i said to him today he is not pleased in the least and i find myself checking our insurance policy right now to check their get out clauses. His insurance is aa home insurance so maybe they will change there mind as he is going to complain first thing Monday am to the customer complaint line as he must be the only one in the uk to have had this happen according to the aa attitude assistant sorry customer assistant lol. he is quite righty fed up as when it came off it damaged the roof and wrote off the car. so i have given him a loan of one of our cars till he gets their car sorted if ever .

Very worrying tale. I know I paid more than average for my system; but the panels were very well fixed by experienced guys; and I see now how important that is.

(I hear of a system using easy click-on fixing... simply clicking brackets behind the tiles, no screws....

Sorry to hear about your neighbour. A warning indeed. with the forcast for the next few days, gale force winds it looks like well be looking at our roofs every morning wondering. It sounds like you live in a very rural area?. would you say you have higher winds than most?. I live in a built up area and still got hit be a freak wind last week that sucked the side of my conservative. but it was amazingly localized. Makes you wonder what 25 years is going to do?.
