  • Where is "home"? Only some of us have such a luxury. Surely we all share planet earth-stop the segregation completely and lets all be proud of the fact. One of the things that annoys me is when you see world leaders, government representatives of these 3rd world countries, obviosly wellfed and living it up. I just have to ask what they are giving up to help their fellow people. Its the great class divide in all countries it seems. When a country can afford guns and large armies but not do much to help the poeple, I will always be suspicious of donating money. If I were filthy rich, I'd not give a penny away to these organisations who claim to be charities-I would take the money over myself and see exactly how it was spent!

First of all this need for charity abroad because of the developed nation’s foreign policies, the several trade barriers should be lifted, the developed countries need to empower nations and not just make occasional offerings of charity.

Haven’t we heard of this saying ‘give a man a fish and you have fed him one day, whereas you teach a man to fish, you have fed him all his life’ So the foreign policies need a makeover in a big way to empower nations.

Also as much as we all like to debate, there is a need for democracy and capitalism in countries to bridge the gap between poor and rich so there are several countries which should be open to reforms and modernisation policies.

Finally if all of us really sincerely genuinely care, do not send our governments to war, it destroys the nations, it questions integrity of nations, it demoralises the citizens of the country we go to war with not to mention their people killed leaving little children orphaned and beautiful countries destroyed to a state of rubbles.
