Recommendations for extended wear contact lenses?

I've been using CibaVision AirOptix for quite a while. They seem ok to me, and I was just going to order some more but I've read some reviews on the website and there are quite a few negative comments about them.
This has got me wondering if anyone has tried these and switched to another brand that they've found better?

If you find them comfortable and your optician hasn't found any changes in your eye health, I'd ignore negative reviews as everyone's eyes are different.
My optician told me I'd probably feel monthly disposable lenses more in my eyes than dailies but I found the monthlies much more comfortable. I haven't tried extended wear ones myself but I'm tempted by them for the convenience.0 -

I bought some AirOptix for travelling long distance, however my optician also recommended Clariti 1 day silicone gel ones which I now use only for a two or three night trip. These are, according to my optician, the same material as the extended wear lenses.
My personal view is that I don't want contacts in place for a month at a time but certainly appreciate that others think differently!0
