Unexpected money arrived at my bank account so made a huge overpayment. I will pay off the loan in a couple of days but for today I've reached the maximum amount my bank allows. So £10000 overpayment towards sainsburys.

hi all
Going to declare today on: £13617.88
I've accepted that i won't be debt free by my birthday which was a huge goal of mine. Will just keep plodding. Some decisions i have taken have held me back - overpaying on the mortgage - if i'd diverted those funds these last few months i'd be debt free and just tackling the mortgage now but i am happy with my decision and the reasons behind itI also didn't put the brakes on any holiday plans this year (which i have been doing these last few years) have been on some fab trips and more to come and as i'm not getting any further into debt to do this then i am again happy with the decision
I [STRIKE]should[/STRIKE] will be debt free by the end of the year and will have paid a little extra off the mortgage too.
