£36.80 cleared from Cap1, plus £22 from Very. New total =

    £2026.06/£3000

Not expecting to get a lot of overpayments in being as it's school holidays now, they eat me out of house and home when they're here, plus childcare for the 2 boys goes from £8-£31 a week to £120

Plus DH has just started a new job so we'll be without HB for a month or so until he gets his 2nd lot of pay. It's going to be an interesting few weeks just to pay for rent and childcare, think food may be going on the CC until we get the HB back payment. I do hate relying on benefits to survive. Isn't it about time these mega-profit making companies paid their staff a decent wage?

I agree, it's silly. No one working full time should have to rely on benefits to top up their wages!

Thanks for the updates everyone, and sorry it's taken me so long.

I'm not going to be able to totalise probably until the week after next, so do apologise for the delay.

    Hope everyone is well :)

Hey jwil - whenever you can update is fine - you are brilliant at running this challenge and truly inspirational :)

Anywho's best update my total in case i can't squeeze any more payments in before my hols. Am also completely shattered having had to work through my lunch and also finished work late

I've requested some funds from bay of e sales so i'll try and make another payment before i go but i just have no idea how long it will be before the money is in my account. I have a huge target of £1595 to clear by the end of august as things stand  what with usual payment, cashback, some money still due from work and *nepoll that'll be £1045 to find :eek::eek: which is a lot! of stuff to sell  - am hoping the new MS i did will pay out which will push the target below £1000, plus as the jars and tins won't fit in the cupboards and the freezer is crammed full i'm also hoping to cut back on my already tight food budget. We will see how i get on x

Well Done! On all the payments everyone xx
