total debt reduction of £1097.94 which includes an extra payment of £46.80 - used my car to go to a work training course and got a mileage allowance, used this to reduce my debt.

    new totals below

not made 50%of target even though on month six. But with extra payments being made each week i dont do food shopping, i hope to still make that target before next pay day.

Can I join this now? Started 1st June. Would like to be down to about £10000 paid off by end of year if possible. Will work out exac t figures soon

Of course you can join RunbeforeIcanwalk, welcome to the challenge :) Nice to have you on board, and good luck with the debtbusting :)
Just checked cap1 card and total cleared last month was £29.84 so that brings the new total to £1889.37/£3000

And below the £5000 mark for total debt :j

    Well done wannabehermit :j
£130 payment made this month. New totals

    42. Newlifeahead - £2607.03 / £11,645.30

I just can't get to make any overpayments this year. It has been a real struggle. I will be lucky if I even get to half of my target with the way things are going.

Never mind a little down is better than up :)

Anything paid off is good, so you've done well so far :T

Well done everyone. Keep going! June seems quiet too Jwil but I guess people are doing summer holidays about now. I know that's sucking up my money at the moment. Better than putting it on a card though!

We're having a better month than last, so we're not looking too bad. It's definitely quieter though, so yes I guess people are thinking about holidays.

  • Well I'm not getting any holidays so I better just suck it up and get on with it as I have no excuses :o. £40 today as realised I get paid on Friday so there was a wee bit spare in my account. I need £5.92 to reach my snowball target by Friday. Easy Peasy :D. So now at £3,736.53/£10,000. Unless I get a big win on the lottery then I doubt I'll pay off the £10k but if I get to £8k then I'll be delighted

A rather sad £20 from some ebay sales, though I reckon if I actually took off the ebay charges and what I paid in the first place it would be about 79p! Anyway, it's gone.
