I know - I was just utterly frustrated at the fact that the only person she was listening to was the bloody boss - who I would trust as far as I could throw him. Which yes, would be about the length of a tribunal...
It wasn't a case of this, I am the middle 'man' and thought I wasn't being clear on what oh had been told, I very much appreciate any help and advice. I can understand your frustration and am sorry for causing it. Angel Angel 0 0

I think the main thing that you're being told is that whilst waiting for legal advice, your OH should not accept another job elsewhere otherwise or he will be resigning, and lose rights to redundancy or TUPE.
 Hope you're feeling better today.
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0

He has called a few solictors (very hard to get hold of) but he has been advised to raise a greivance via email, he has written something out but not sure if this is the right way to go. He is just so confused as to what to do.
If I type the greivance here would you be able to cast your eyes over it and see if it sounds ok please? and in your opinion is this the best way to go?
He has this interview for the other place on Monday, he also has to go to the office for a surveyors meeting which is a yearly thing on Tuesday, so the timing is that the surveyors meeting is going to be very awkward for him - if for example he sends the greivance tonight/weekend. BUT because of the interview he has to send it before Monday... He just wants them to give him his status of employment in writing which they won't do.
Its all so frustrating and confusing for us. Angel Angel 0 0

Probably not the best time of day to ask your question, so I'm bumping this for you in case someone with the right expertise can advise you.
In my book, a firm job offer is better than redundancy but TUPE trumps both. If you don't get a response from here your OH should ask about TUPE at the interview.0
