Just checking in to say hello and hope that everyone had a lovely Christmas!
I am confessing in full that I have not done great this month, mainly because I have been putting minimal effort in (tut tut!). That said, I have been productive in other places and had a huge pre Christmas sort out of toys and general clutter which has a very therapeutic cleansing affect. I have even washed paintwork, skirting boards, cleaned under furniture - the full works. DH very concerned about "nesting" behaviour but I assured him I am NOT pregnant!
I have really missed not checking in daily as everyone keeps me motivated. Will be back with a vengance for January!! Like the idea of spreadsheets to track progress & keep motivation going. Also - (really pleased with this one) I have not bought a single thing in the sales (so far!) as I do not need anything. :T How good is that??? :rotfl:0 -

Lol - well done to you too as I have just read your post and we are in the same camp. It really is a lovely feeling! :T
Instead of thinking I have to have the "bargain" I am starting to visualise the actual money in my account and it makes me really think about what I "need". I even got a VIP invite to the next online sale, but I did not register to avoid temptation. I am starting to scare myself!! :rotfl:0 -
 BlueCow and CP for being so strong and resisting.0

well done everyone who has avoided the sales! I haven't spent anything so far but mainly as I havent seen anything - NEXT and M&S today were rubbish, either all the goodies are gone or the sales just aren't up to much this year! I am planning on getting 10 rolls of wrapping paper from card factory tomorrow though but that is a very good deal! I would like to get some more xmas decs and tinsel for next year but the shops seem sold out already - nevermind!
Well, was just letting you know you've not missed out on anything!0 -
Only redeemed $5.00 from Swag Bucks today, hopefully I will get busier with my money saving/making projects in the new year..It's not the despair, Laura. I can take the despair. It's the hope I can't stand. ~ Brian Stimpson, Clockwise0

Pinecone must be accepting new people again at the moment. Not sure what survey invitation it was that got me to the sign up page as I've had about 3 or 4 on the go all morning, but one of them when I clicked back onto it, it was on the sign up page!
So OH is now conveniently signed up, at last!!
So glad his parents don't mind still getting post for him at their house even though he moved out years ago! I think because it's just vouchers they don't mind!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700
