i was on moneysupermarket website for a loan, i was looking at the halifax and it was showing as 6.1%. however when i went on the halifax website it was 6.9%. would i get the 6.1% if i went through moneysupermarket or would this change as soon as i applied ?

  • I am not quite sure about your particular case. But last month I took out travel insurance and the rates quoted by moneysupermarket were less than the original company.
I clicked through the link on moneysupermarket and was informed on the webpage that this is an offer due to a tieup between both companies and applies when one applies through moneysupermarket.
  • the halifax website offer is typical 6.1% apr

the branch and telephone offer is typical 6.9% apr

    ends this week though
