Debt collection agency letter, saying bank has requested they take no more payments??

Options
I've been paying a monthly amount by direct debit off a credit card debt. The payments have been going to ScotCall on behalf of RBS. I just had a letter saying that RBS has told ScotCall to stop taking payments.

What does this mean?? The debt is large, there's no way they can be writing it off or anything - can RBS maybe be demanding more, or that I repay in full now? :(

Thanks for help.

    Hi

It could be that they are going to sell the debt on to a DCA (obviously scotcall have just been collecting on RBS behalf), or its possible they are considering court action, or going to try to ask you to increase your monthly repayments.

I guess you just need to wait and see what you hear from RBS. But don't be harrassed into offering more than you can afford to pay.
