Debt collection agency letter, saying bank has requested they take no more payments??

I've been paying a monthly amount by direct debit off a credit card debt. The payments have been going to ScotCall on behalf of RBS. I just had a letter saying that RBS has told ScotCall to stop taking payments.
What does this mean?? The debt is large, there's no way they can be writing it off or anything - can RBS maybe be demanding more, or that I repay in full now?
Thanks for help.

Hi
It could be that they are going to sell the debt on to a DCA (obviously scotcall have just been collecting on RBS behalf), or its possible they are considering court action, or going to try to ask you to increase your monthly repayments.
I guess you just need to wait and see what you hear from RBS. But don't be harrassed into offering more than you can afford to pay.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
