How can I decrease my monthly mortgage payment

My mortgage payments have just been increased at Nationwide, I only have £18,000 left to pay on it and pay £176 a month. Just wondering if there's a cheaper way to pay it off.
Any idea's would be gratefully received.

go to a fixed rate deal and when the B.O.E increase the rates, therefore the bank's standard rate increase..therefore your monthly payments would go down! :dance:smile everyday...cos its free
