Watching some of the vids on youtube are great! and TBH this is really a gift of novelty value rather than usefulness isnt it! It's petty I know but I bought it just so I can write:
To Daddy,
Here's a Sack of Crap (for a sack of crap)
Merry Christmas
Love .....
On the label... I will probably leave the stuff in brackets out though, unless the tempataion gets too much haha!
And to top off the joy of it all he is spending christmas day here so I will get to see him open it as well
Merry Christmas one and all!0 -
What happened to the FREE sack of craps??? I'm sure I got a free one last year and just paid postage , nothing of worth in there of course but my poor SIL's face @ Christmas as I didn't know who to offload it all on! lol
I'll never forget the look on his face and have bought him some much nicer things this year so hopefully he'll be PLEASANTLY surprised! ;-)0 -
Not that I was going to because it's £20 and surely if someone says they are going to sell you twenty quids worth of crap you expect crap...but I checked the BOC forum and historically people got DVD cases and out of date ink cartridges and ipod docks that don't work. I'm sticking with my original thought"There is no substitute for time."
Competition wins:
2013. Three bottles of oxygen! And a family ticket to intech science centre. 2011. The Lake District Cheese Co Cow and bunny pop up play tent, cheese voucher, beach ball and cuddly toy cow and bunny and a £20 ToysRus voucher!0 -
Just remember what company you are actually buying from, that was enough to put me off. I bought on last year and it really was crap and it all went in the bin.
Cheap pink/orange flip flops, a cheap inflatable carrier bag and a cheap pair of sunglasses.. That is the kind of crap I got last year to give you an idea of what to expect to find in you sack of crap.
Don't waste your money especially with a company like this.
I got those last year too, along with a lung ashtray, light bulbs and set of small pool balls :rotfl: I was suckered in because my brother had previously got a graco pushchair FFP!0 -
I can't believe how many saps are actually buying this! Hardly very money saving. :wall:
Still if anybody wants to send me £20 i'm sure I could find some bits of tat as well, lieing around my house or office to send them......0 -
The price is way too high to consider having a punt on.
From what people on other forums have said in the past, for every person getting something decent there are 100 getting a pile of dross that goes straight to landfill.
This reminds me of those phoney auctions where people end up paying £££££'s for a mystery bag just because they were wound up into thinking they might get an ipod. Save your money, guys, you can get decent stuff from a reputable trader for the same amount.
For £20 you could make your own 'bag of crap' with much better stuff in it than you will get from this deal. That would actually be a much better present.0 -
Wow.
If you don't want to spend £20 on crap, which they even tell will be crap, don't do it.
People like me have done it before, I know what I'm letting myself in for. I know 90% will be crap. The fact is, for £20 it's a bit of fun. I have the money to spare so why not?
Not every bag is 100% rubbish, I've known people to get 40" HDTVs from them (some time last year), I have received many items I still have, such as a tiny, but excellent touch screen MP3 player, a lot of people received christmas trees last year, and kites used to be a regular.
At the end of the day, why come on here and moan about it. You are receiving a sack of crap, and they tell you it is. If you don't like it, stay away.0 -
Oh well, a fool and their money is soon parted... :dance:0

I can't find how to buy this.0
