Belt issues...

Not sure if this is the right forum so please move if not.
I have a nice dress and have bought a thin belt to go with it, but there is only the one belt loop (near the buckle) so the end of the belt just sort of sticks out into the air.
Anyone got a neat way of sorting this out? My boyfriend suggested an elastic band but it's not the look I'm going for
Any help gratefully received.

Go into a chain shoe repair shop like Timpsons, ask if they have any "keepers" for belts, last time I did this he pulled out a shoe box of them in all widths, colours and sizes and apologeticaly charged me £1.The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

I would be seriously worried about any b/f that made a valid fashion suggestion.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

You could tuck it in. It's something I've seen on quite a few fashion blogs. Here are some examples:

Another thing I have used in the past is a pony tail band, but don't tell my GF. She wonders where things go

How about velcro? You can buy sticky velcro dots really cheaply (I had a quick google and they seem to be available for about £1 - I would imagine any craft shop would have them). Invisible once the belt's on and easily removed whenever you want.0
