Raspberry Pi - exciting low cost, low power computer

I've been following this laudable project for some time now, and they are not far from being able to ship units: https://www.raspberrypi.org/

The Raspberry Pi is a *tiny* little circuit board, which sells for $25 / £16 and can run a full Linux server, output 1080p video via HDMI and lots more things that make any self-respecting geek foam at the mouth.

There are a huge amount of practical applications for such a device, not least its primary goal which is to help educate children in the art of "hobbyist programming" (one of the charity board members is David Braben, co-programmer of Elite, and he laments the loss of the ZX Spectrum, BBC, C64 bedroom programmers back in the 80s).

I strongly suggest that if the above sounds interesting to you, go and check out the site.
