In the latest National Trust magazine is an offer to upgrade or purchase Sky+ for £50+£60 installation (compared with £100+£60 for current Sky subscribers).
Phoned up tonight to upgrade the MIL's subcription and got it (eventually because the kid at the other end had no idea what to do initally and had to go for advice).
You also have to pay the extra £10/month for the Sky+ subscription but having got this ourselves we couldn't be without it.
AND - although the offer says you will have to give your NT membership number Sky didn't ask for it.:T
OK so not a fantastic deal but if you're thinking of upgrading from Sky to Sky+ and you know someone in the NT (or can blag that you can't find your card at the minute) you can save yourself £50.

there is another thread that suggests that you should probably wait until the 12th Feb as there will be some major changes to the way sky work

Can I ask what package you are currently on with sky because if you pay over £30 a month anyway they should waive the extra £10 a month...0
