Due to sign on for JSA on 30th November

Does anyone know if there's any information about what to do? Do we just turn up and sign as normal, or are there any different procedures in place?
Thanks

    give them a call maybe?
  • Give them a call or if nearby go in and ask at the desk. Whenever there's industrial action, they usually have a skeleton staff to handle signing, but be prepared for longer waiting times.

I just rang up the jobcentre about this and was told that payments were going to be advanced and there was no need to go sign on this wednesday but go the fortnight later as usual

I think I will still ring on the morning and check to be on the safe side as I thought there would be skeleton staff or something!

I've just spoken to them and they said the same. I guess it varies from branch to branch and if your claim is straightforward they just take your NI number and your payment is authorised over the phone.
