Help! Tax underpaid....again

The correct tax due is around £16038 ............ so the underpayment looks about right. Down to the 2nd job code being BR - as it should more than likely be D0. In order you pay 40% tax as opposed to the 20% under BR.they had decided not to pursue the underpayment
..... is that for years other than 08-09?If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
the letter does n't state which years they won't pursue under payments. also l have letter from HMRC saying that the tax code for my second job would be DO in 2010!0

And is it now D0? In which case they've rectified the problem giving rise to the underpayment(s).
If they decided not to pursue some years - then I assume they consider they had information they should have acted upon earlier. But which they don't consider applies to 08-09If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
