Perfume Cost Cutting: Slash The Cost!

I WOULD LIKE TO REPLY TO ALL PEOPLE WHO DO BUY PERFUMES FROM THE INTERNET SITE TO BE ON THEIR GUARD. THE COST OF THE PERFUME IS ALWAYS CHEAPER THAN THAT OF THE HIGH STREET AND DEPARTMENT STORES BUT WITH ADDED CHARGES FOR DELIVERY WHICH IS SOMETHING YOU DONT GET FROM THE HIGH STREET!!! ALSO AS I WORK IN THE FRAGRANCE INDUSTRY I HAVE HAD TO TRAIN ON A VERY INTENSIVE WEEK LONG COURSE TO GET TO THE STANDARDS THAT MY EMPLOYER WANTED. I KNOW WHICH INGREDIENTS ARE USED IN WHICH PERFUMES SO CUSTOMERS ARE MADE AWARE IF THEY SHOULD ASK OF ANY ALLERGIES THEY MAY HAVE TO CERTAIN INGREDIENTS. YOU DONT GET THIS SERVICE FROM THE NET SHOPPING EXPERIENCE AS ONLY TRAINED STAFF CAN DO THIS FACE TO FACE. WITH NEW FRAGRANCES ALWAYS LAUNCHING WITH MANY MORE TO COME THIS YEAR THAT I HAVE HAD TRAINING FOR ALREADY IT IS A VERY COMPETITIVE BUSINESS BUT WITH THE NET TAKING OVER THE WAY WE SHOP THE SALES CONSULTANTS IN FRAGRANCE ARE THE ONES WHO WILL LOSE OUT IN THE END WITH NO CUSTOMERS MEANS NO JOBS!!!!!!MSE_Natasha wrote: »0

I appreciate what you're SHOUTING LadyLuck but (and you'll hate me for this) I try the perfumes out in the high street shops to see what suits me/ what I'm allergic to/what I like, then I'll go buy it from a reputable dealer on the internet for a reduced price.
Edit: I also find many of the sales assistants too pushy after their week long training in sales techniquesIllegitimi non carborundum.0 -
Go to quidco cosmetic department & work down the list as to who's giving the best cashback, my 2 top ones are direct cosmetics & cheapsmells. Have used both & am v.happy

I recently ordered from strawberrynet and the complete order arrived within about 2 weeks. However, I was stung for a customs charge. Strawberrynet use bizrate and I filled in the feedback saying I wasn't happy that the delivery charge (which is a new thing!) plus the customs charge have made the perfume the same price as the high street so I won't be using them again. They replied really quickly and said if I fax a copy of the customs receipt they will refund the charge.
Seems like complaining works! I don't usually bother but the feedback request arrived while I was still annoyed about the charge!0
