Advice on the cheapest product for me?

DH is buying for 130,000 and can put down a 20% deposit. DH earns £39,000 so no problem about the amount. We are likely to keep the house for less than 2 years so would like no penaltys after 2 years and low arrangement fees.
Can anyone tell me whether the Coventry Building Societys deal of 5.74% Flexx fixed rate until 31.03.12 with no redemption penalties is the best product out there?
Our mortgage advisor didn't recomend it to us (found it on the internet) but then she is countrywide which are not whole of market?
Thanks for any help you can offer

It's difficult to say as your scenario is open to many interpretations.
If you want cheaper rates, with no extended tie-ins after the 2 years, there are plenty of cheaper deals, fixed or variable with high and low fees.
If however you want fixed or variable schemes, with no penalties at any time, then againn you have numerous options avilable.
If you are specifically looking for FIXED rates with no penalties at any time, then these are limited
I think maybe if you could be more specific it may help to narrow things down for youI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
