  • I bought the last one form Asda on the day of release - they had pallets full and were about £8.00 - much cheaper than anywhere else.
  • Waterstones had this for 13.99 + free wizards book worth £10 + Free Delivery for orders over £15.

S j Cooper said the last one, meaning the last book released.
I actually pre ordered from WHSmiths last time round and then got it from KwikSave on the day of release for £4.99 if I remember correctly, which still worked out cheaper even taking my lost deposit into consideration.
There is no way I'll be pre ordering it this time around.

My excuse is I'm tired :o

When I first read it I took it to mean they got the last copy of book 7 off the pallet.

    Nevermind.... no harm done :D

Can’t see anything on their website that suggests this carterma.

If you can’t get to ASDA or if you want to order online you can get one here for £11.99:

  • whs online pre-order is 13.49 - but they say if the price is reduced you pay the lower price

doesn't amazon promise to charge you the lowest price they drop it to pre-release? So the price at which you place your order is not necessarily the price you pay when they finally send it out to you. It should be a lot lower - usually sub-£10 for HP books.

Anyway, I always pop down to my local tesco for my copy, after a nice full cooked brekkie, and settle in on the sofa for a good read the rest of the day!
Not buying clothes for a year - it's liberating!
