Ebay Selling Question

Just out of hospital so have only just discovered the free listing weekend. I've been meaning to put some stuff up for ages but never quite got around to it. Determined to do it NOW.
I intend to just throw up some basic information for a 7 day listing, then add photos/more information tomorrow. This means (in theory) that I get to do the free listing, but put info up at my leisure. Can I do this? I will need to get info about posting, but have it in my head that I can't edit postage costs. Is that right?

Hi
I think you can edit anything so long as you have no bids!.
Why not try one now to confirm, I would be careful on images as obviously these do come at a cost, they may chance 2mro as you said.

With Ebay, you should be able to list stuff today on the Free listing fees days.
The only time that a listing cannot be edited is when certain bits are within 24 hours of the auction ending so far as I know. You should be able to add information by clicking on the listing and using the edit function. Depending on what category you sell in, some images are free for all and some in books and the like are first one only free with others being 12p / pict. In any case, the bit that you wish to edit will not have an edit button, just an add it button.
Bear in mind that there will be final value fees and postage to pay for and take into consideration. So do your sums.0 -
Thanks everyone. OH has managed to lose what he'd written to put in the listings anyway, so we're going to have to miss the free listing, unfortunately. I want to get stuff put on there this week though.SPC - Number 14250

I've just put some stuff on and scheduled it to start next weekend - it's only charged me the 6p for a scheduled start - all other listing fees have hit the 'free listing' criteria. You could do this then list at leisure.Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0
