I would suggest these, but they need Excel:

This one is from MSE and although in Excel is compatible with Open Office (Libre Office may be OK as well)

Hi
Another option is this one from eagerlearner Money Saving Spreadsheet to use in addition to Martin's which can be used on excel, open office or on Macs. There are even instructions for downloading open office for free.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Mine is in Google Docs - I'll see if I can tweak a copy of it to be sharable :-)
Edit: There you go: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ao9zCA7RQ92hdHAxX0tVWXRnM0NPMmIxYmpGZ0dvaHc
That's public, but read only. To change it, you'll need a Google Docs account, then choose File > Make a Copy, which will copy it to your account.
Basically, each account has its own sheet, which is literally a copy of the statement, with an added column for the categories. Categories can be as loose or as detailed as you like - I just have Bills, Cash, Groceries, Clothing, Fees and General. Each week, I record the balance of each account in the Balance Tracking sheet - that then generates the graph. The first sheet automatically stays up to date with the current balance of all your accounts. My own version has an extra sheet for monthly totals, which I update each payday. I didn't include that here because it uses some of the more advanced features which a lot of people won't be familiar with, and those that are can easily make their own.
The thing to remember is any template is just a starting point - tweak it for yourself until it works for you.0 -
