yes there is more than one and I am totally confused about the supposed ' bank deafault ' from Capquest, It definately isnt for any other debt but for the Orange bill????
i called thm but they just said I deafulted the account and they would get a team to look into it which they probably wont. I have emailed them and CCed in Orange, but how likely is it they will respond? Any ideas?
Also have you got any ideas how to up my credit rating. I have only one cerdit card Capital which is £500 limit I try to use it and pay it off as suggested, is it best I pay it all off every month or mimumum payment?
What else can I do? I cant get any other credit my Equifax and Experian is poor ( i went off the rails a few years ago despite paying everything on time now!!!) although my callcredit report says I have 'good credit' 3 stars but still a risk.
I have been at my current address two years and am on the electoral roll.
Any others uggestions how to boost it up??
Thanks x0 -

Are you assuming its orange because you don't have any other defaulted debts - or do all the other details agree? are the default amounts identical and the dates the accounts were opened etc? Please can you answer this?

Its best to send a letter in the post recorded delivery - then it is likely they will respond.

Very little you can do to improve your credit history whilst you have a default on file. But in terms of your credit card, best to use each month and pay off in full. Then once the default has dropped off and any negative entries from missed payments etc, you will at least be showing you can handle credit now.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Hi yes it is exactly same amount 125.88 it's the same as orange account !! It just says bank default November 2011 on my file !0

Although what they recorded it as is different, it doesn't make any difference to the fact it's a default. A mobile phone default is equally as bad as a bank default, or a credit card default etc
Your only worry should be getting the date sorted out.0 -
In that case send a letter to caquest recorded to get one of the entries removed and the default to the correct date.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
