Credit report queries

I have recently got a credit report from Experian and spotted a few items on the 'financial associations' section that I wanted to query (for example why does the search citibank made for an application appear no less that EIGHT times!!). On the explanation 'leaflet' from Experian it says you have to contact the banks direct to sort it out but it didn't have any contact details for the credit teams for these particular banks. When I phoned their customer services they both basically denied any knowledge of having anyone who deals with credit files and said I had to contact Experian to fix it, who, incidentally, are being completely useless at getting back to me.
So, in short, does anyone know the contact details for the credit departments of Citibank and Santander (ie Alliance and Leicester) so I can get this fixed?
Also does anyone know when Noddle's free credit report service will be up and running?
Thanks.

It really doesn't matter how many individual records appear in the financial associations section. All that counts is the names of the people you are listed as being financially linked to. The duplication makes absolutely no difference to anything.
If you've submitted a query about this by email or post we will get back to you. Our contact centre is very busy at the moment and we may be taking a little longer than usual to respond, so please bear with us.

I am an official company representative of Experian. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"

It's already running for some of us. 1st time I heard of the service was mid-October, I went to their website, put my name down. A couple of weeks later they contacted me to say I could now sign-up. Give it a try!0 -

Thanks for your reply. It's good to know that duplicates don't matter (although I'm still baffled as to why there are any in the first place!). The main concern for me is that these financial associations are with my ex partner, who I know is in a lot of debt, so I am worried that these are impacting on my credit record, as I recently got turned down for an application. None of the associations are actually active accounts anymore but I wasn't sure if 'application' associations still counted as you being linked financial to the person. I have filled in the experian form for dissociation so I presume when I hear that that is confirmed then they will all have been wiped and it won't be an issue. It's already running for some of us. 1st time I heard of the service was mid-October, I went to their website, put my name down. Thanks. I've done a bit of searching and I think people who had joined prior to a certain date can use it now whereas people like me who only put their name down recently have to wait until its all ready/out of beta testing etc. I guess I'll just have to be more patient!0 -

Speak of the devil....Just checked my email and I had a email from Noddle saying I was on the priority list for the next group of people to be allowed to use it!0 -
We will remove the financial link if you no longer have any financial connection with your ex. You'll need to contact the other two CRAs to request the disassociation too I'm afraid.
By the way, your credit report includes a list of contact details for all of the organisations that have provided data. These should direct you to the specific part of the organisation that is able to deal with credit report queries.

Thats the problem, it doesnt list contact details for the organisations with the associations - ie Citibank and Santander (Alliance and Leicester) - and their customer services don't seem to have a clue what I'm on about. Anyway, so long as this dissociation think works, I think its all under control now.
By CRA I presume you mean Equifax and CallCredit? Thanks for the that, it hadn't even occurred to me that I'd have to contact all of them.
Thanks a lot for all your help.0
