Need inspiration pls...

I have bought some ladies scarfs as presents (not the wooly kind) and I'm trying to think of a nice way to present them, was considering putting them in a wine glass, would welcome any ideas, thanks :)

Could you make some really pretty Crackers and pop the scarves inside?

great idea by the previous post - as I need something similar, I did a quick google. John Lewis sell fill your own crackers - see here

  • I know it's only a tiny bit but I'd still be wary of the snap making brown marks on the scarves when pulled.....

Good point! Moany Tony, and if they are silk, the whole thing could go up in flames.

Would just use crackers as a wrapping and not the "pull" kind.:)

Am assuming these scarves are the silky kind and can fold/roll up quite small.

In which case, what about a velvet pouch? Just tie a nice gift tag around it with ribbon - you could buy lengths of ribbon in a haberdashery department in John Lewis.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Velvet-jewellery-pouch-drawstring-jewelry/dp/B0038QVFVG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1322412203&sr=8-1

The recipient can re-use the pouch as a change purse, to keep a handbag mirror or lipstick or for jewellery.
