Gluten Free Baked Goods

Hi all

I am baking all my gifts this year for my friends. One has a gluten intolerance but I still want to make her something special that won't kill her!!

Anyone have any good cookie/cupcake recipes that are gluten free?

Xx

hi, I have been using the asda own brand of gluten free flour (S/R and plain) It is very versatile, we've simply substituted it per recipe. it contains the guar gum, so no need to buy it or add it.
chocolate banana flake cake, lime and coconut cake, tea loaves, pancakes......., we sell loads at the coffee shop..... no-one has noticed.
Next to try is gingerbread so the kids can get the cutters out.
Go give it a try - find it in the free from section.

My friend uses gluten free flour and guar gum. Or try recipes with alonds in instaed of flour - chocolate and alond cake, almondies. Or meringues or chocolates...

    Hi there,

I recently baked goodies for my mums bithday (she is gluten/wheat intolerant) and if you go on the doves farm (gluten free flour) website they have a fab recipe for chocolate brownies which got demolished over the weekend by everyone & it keeps (if you can keep any without eating it!) for about 5/6 days.

Also i found a peanut butter cookie recipe on google which were brilliant too!

    Hope this helps.x
